ExactCODE is an innovative company working closely together with other, international companies; usually on low-level system components of next generation computer systems and devices. Based in the creative culture of the vibrating hearth of Berlin - with multiple universities a-hand - we also provide practica and internships as required for certain universities of applied science. While working for ExactCODE you will virtually never have to use Microsoft Windows, but rather work on and develop for: Linux, Solaris, QNX or Apple's Mac OS X systems (or micro-controller or PIC firmware without any "operating system").

We are looking for software engineers with a solid knowledge in one, or preferable multiple of the following areas:

• object oriented and generic C++ (Java does not count, sorry)
• experience with an event driven GUI toolkit such as Qt or Gtk+
• kernel knowledge, such as submitted some patches to linux-kernel, best written major parts on a audio, video, network or similar bus driver
• understanding of bit's and bytes and at least one peripheral bus, such as USB, IEEE1394, SCSI or ATA
• favourable already programmed for a non-x86 CPU, such as ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, SPARC or SuperH and heared about the term "endianess" and other portability pitfalls including assembly knowledge
• Digital Signal Processing (DSP) of audio or image data
• good written English and mathematical skills are strictly required

Students requiring an internship for an university of applied sciences, such as the TFH Berlin, or a company to write the diploma theses as well as freelancers who prefer to work for different companies from time to time are welcome!
